Gold Edward Edem Hogan

Gold Edward Edem Hogan is a full-stack software engineer and cloud specialist, and serves as IT Partner to the firm. He is responsible for the systems the practice runs on: the firm’s digital presence, its client-facing tooling, and the infrastructure that keeps client records available, backed up and private.

He builds and deploys production software end to end — web applications, APIs, data services and automation — with a focus on systems that stay cheap to run and simple to hand over. His work covers SvelteKit and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js, Rust and Python on the back end, and serverless deployment on Cloudflare and AWS with automated build and release pipelines.

For clients of the firm, this means accounting and audit work is not the end of the engagement. Where a business needs its finance data out of spreadsheets and into a system, needs an accounting package configured and integrated, or needs the software that surrounds the finance function to actually work, that capability sits inside the firm rather than being referred out.

He holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Knutsford University College and completed front-end engineering training with TIIDELab.
